“I began participating in MaryEllen's classes about five years ago. I had not been getting much exercise, and began noticing my lack of endurance, and problems with balance. I was winded after the first class, but by the second class, I began to see an improvement in my stamina, and feeling of wellbeing. After a few months, I began to notice that my sense of balance, both during exercises, and in my daily life had improved, and I felt a sense of accomplishment. After five years, I still look forward to her classes. MaryEllen always makes each session fly by. She encourages her students to do what feels right for them, whether it is to modify, or to challenge oneself. MaryEllen shows an interest in all of her students, and cares for each one of them. She wants to be sure that they are getting the most from each workout, and are doing each move correctly, so as not to hurt themselves. No matter how I am feeling when I begin each class, by the end of each one I always feel better, both physically and emotionally.
